Hello.
One of our 5886 atms frequently give us casstte error because one of its cassettes cant determine if its low or empty and always shows its full.
Can i repair the cassette or should i change it?

You have a problem either with the pick module, where the sensor "low note" is faulty. This has to be replaced.
Or if the problem is related only to the specific cassette, the cassette has a missing magnet which triggers the low note sensor.

You can check where the problem is by changing the cassette position. If the problems moves with the cassette, then it is a cassette fault, otherwise it is the pick module fault.

I changed the cassette's position but the error still was there.i changed the cassette too and i still get Cassette Error occasionally (Pick fails).

Replace the side board is located under the black cover on the right side
