WINCOR 2100 XE - Fraud by Changing Resgistry.

Hi,

"Some unknown person have taken 1000 Denomination Cash from ATM after enabling the calibration/Test dispense in registry". How to restrict the Registry?.

ATM : Model 2100 XE (Cash removed from Vertical transport opening)
Software : Windows XP & NDC 03.02

Need guides to stop this.

How to restrict the Registry?.

Firstly, You must restrict access to BIOS( set password) and make 1-st bootable device- HDD.
Other thing, you can introduce ATM to Active Directory.

Ok. i will put BIOS Password still USB Keyboard can be connected & registry can be accessed.

If have any details related to Vertical transport path where any one can access cash by giving calibration test & how to over come that by covering with any material.

1.If you have password in BIOS and 1-st boot device is HDD, you can't use USB Flash Drive or CD/DVD for change password in Windows system.
2.If you have password in Windows and PC(ATM) is connected in to Domain ( ActiveDirectory), you can't enter to the system and change registry. ( with condition, you (or someone else) don't know user name and password)
