NCR ENCRYPTOR ERROR L1 -MSTATUS 76

Hi,

Can anyone help me understand why NCR EPP would return the error L1 with the mstatus/data as 76. I am not able to get a proper explanation from any of the documents available in my library.

NCR is not revealing what the exact error pertains to.

This problem occurs with all cards?

It does on some terminals but intermittent... NCR mentioned that it has got something to do with the B key - TPK, it does not get overwritten or there is an issue with their application.. But they are not providing us any reasons for such occurences.

e1012711 You can try to change Mode DAPI1 to DAPI 7, restart,then DAPI7 to DAPI1( in 6- Access) .Remember,you will lose the keys.
Which type of ATM's do you have with this problem? Which Aptra installed?

Hi Dan,

The is an Aptra 3.02 version of AANDC and they've mentioned it has got something to do with the session key not getting updated. Which i don't believe. the error crops up after every transaction is successfully completed.

e1012711 I think, the problem is on the host: the download from the host is for another type of ATM and/or another type of Aptra.
