Background and Foreground Colour

Can anyone help me in changing text Background and Foreground Color on an ATM locally?
I would like to, for instance, set the Foreground Color as Black and the Background as Transparent, so that the image under the text is not erased around the character.

I saw the following keys in the following registry entry:

I entered the value for EnableTransparency as 1, and TransparencyValue as 100, but the Background didn’t change into transparent. In the APTRA™ Advance NDC Developer’s Guide, I found a discussion about DisplayManagerConfig.xml file, and that I can use ARGB colors. I changed this file as well, and added 00 to the beginning of all color HTML codes, but it didn’t help.
